Moffa Photography has been an icon in the Delaware
Valley for four decades. What started as a home based
studio in 1969, Moffa is now one of the most respected names
in photography in the Philadelphia area. Located in the Pennsport
Mall in South Philadelphia, Moffa Photography is minutes off
the Penns Landing exit of interstate 95. The number one goal
of the studio for all these years has been to be the best at
what we do, and to offer the finest in portraiture and wedding
photography. For our commercial clients, we offer event, banquet
and executive portraiture.

P. Michael Moffa
The photography career of Mike Moffa started when he was asked to take wedding photographs for a family member who could not afford to hire the services of a professional. This lead to joining a local camera club and attending photography seminars. Forty years later, Mike Moffa owns one of the premier studios in the Delaware Valley. Over the years Moffa has received awards on the local, state and national level. He has received “Best of Shows” in the child, bridal and group portrait categories and has also received the trophy for “Best Wedding Album in the Delaware Valley”. During his career, Mike has served as President of the Guild of Professional Photographers of Delaware Valley, and also served on the board of governors for The Professional Photographers Association of Pennsylvania for twenty years. His passion for photography is reflected in the images he creates.

Kathy Moffa
After raising three children, Kathy Moffa decided to take a more active role in the studio. In addition to being the “ace” of our digital retouching and photo restoration department, Kathy also is responsible for all wedding album design. In less than ten years, she has also received blue ribbon print awards for her “impressionistic” salon images and received the trophy for the “Best Salon Print” from the Professional Photographers of Pennsylvania. In 2005, Kathy was awarded the trophy for the best “electronic image” of one of her brides, by the Guild of Professional Photographers of Delaware Valley. |

Dan Lerro
Since joining Moffa Photography in the mid 80’s, Dan Lerro has become a wedding photographer that is part of the family by the end of the reception. Bride and grooms love Danny’s charming personality and his eagerness to make all comfortable and relaxed on the wedding day. His portraits of the bride and groom are sensitive and romantic. Working along with one of our photojournalists, Dan is a classic wedding photographer.

Joe Cotellessa
Joe Cotellessa joined Moffa Photography in 1998, and is a wedding photojournalistic photographer. Working along with a traditional photographer, Joe captures the wedding with black and white images to compliment the color photographs. His trained eye captures the details and close up images that combined with the traditional classic photography make your wedding album truly outstanding. Joe’s warm and friendly personality make him a joy to work with.
